The fly that everyone has been asking for is finally here! The Leggy Boi was designed by Michigan angler/guide Mike Schultz and is commercially produced by the Chocklett Factory. This large articulated streamer pattern is by far one of the best flies ever designed for Smallmouth Bass. Originally designed for big, early season pre-spawn Smallmouth has proven to be equally effective for us when targeting Pike as well as big Redfish in Louisiana!
When targeting big pre-spawn Smallmouth or Pike, we prefer to fish this pattern with intermediate or sink tip style fly lines.
This pattern is built with the following chassi:
Body 1 Tail- 15mm Shank
Body 2- 15mm Shank
Body 3- Ahrex SA274
Body 4- 25mm Shank
Body 5- Ahrex SA280
