Russ Madin is a fairly legendary angler from up in Michigan and he’s quite the Traverse Bay carp angler. He took the crazy charlie design and came up with the “Carp Charlie”. One of the simplest….yet smartest carp flies on the market today. If there was one to have in your box…this is it. Especially good in the Great Lakes!!

P.S.- Nobody says this fly can’t be used for bonefish…in fact it might be an improvement over the original Crazy Charlie. Don’t be afraid…..
