Description
The Fly Formerly Known as Prince is a souped-up version of the Prince Nymph with holographic silver tinsel in place of white biots. No trout or steelhead can seem to stay away from this fly. This is a favorite pattern for many of our local anglers, especially for low water steelhead.
Traditional White Biots are replaced with holographic silver tinsel and it really adds some flash to this fly. It gets their attention. Especially effective on steelhead in the Lake Erie region where the fish tend to like “bling” but not too much.
