Description
The Ahrex SA274 Curved Salt Hook is a short shank, super wide gap baitfish hook that works great as a single or as the middle hook on various modern shanked Gamechanger style flies. In smaller sizes, it has become one of our favorite carp hooks. If you like tying Musky/Pike style Hybrid changers, the #1/0 makes a great middle hook.
It carries a similar design as the Ahrex NS172, but this is slightly heavier and is coated with A-Steel saltwater finish. Simply put, this is one of our most widely used hooks.
