Description
Although this fly was designed for Peacock Bass….and work it does for them, we have also been using it elswhere. This has also become a go-to Pike and Musky fly for us as well around here. A great saltwater/offshore fly for larger salt species too!
It is tied with all synthetic materials making it very durable for all of these toothy and/or aggressive fish. It holds up well in the Amazon when feather and bucktail flies are being destroyed quickly by Pirahna. At nearly 7″ long and 3″ tall it has a great profile in the water with minimal weight. The hook will hold up too under pressure. We have thrown this in the blue water off Andros and caught Dorado, Wahoo and Tuna as well.
Puck’s Barred Peacock Predator- size 5/0 and it is approximately 7 inches long!
