Kelly Galloup’s Butch Caddis is simply one of the best caddis dries ever created. This fly is no doubt our favorite caddis dry! We picked some of these up out at Kelly’s lodge a few years back and they have been absolutely killer everywhere from the Mad to Chile…..the new Elk Hair caddis.
Great fly to use anytime caddis are present. The small trailing shuck and the rubber legs allow it to be fished as an emerger as well as a spent. Like we said….an absolutely fantastic fly from Kelly Galloup.
