Erdosy’s Carp Crab has quickly become a top selling pattern for us both in the shop and here on the web. Mark is a well known Carp and Steelhead angler and certainly designed an excellent carp fly here.
The lead eyes on this fly make it a top choice for deeper water as it gets down quickly. Not a great choice for low and clear water but in the deeper stuff it works really well. Some spikey, sparkly dubbing with grizzly silicone legs as well as some webby hackle and marabou over which he pulls a thin skin shell back. A little crayfish? A nymph? Not sure what they think but it doesn’t matter. It produces carp!
