Dave’s Cricket is the original Cricket fly from our old friend Dave Whitlock. Still the one to have! Pretty much the only cricket fly you need to have.
We use these alot around here for trout and panfish. We don’t get alot of hoppers along our wooded trout streams but we do get crickets. This has been a staple pattern in our bins for nearly 25 years and still going strong.
