Double D – Lynch’s

Lynch’s Double D is another great big trout pattern from Tommy Lynch and is now a legendary streamer. Also known as the Drunk and Disorderly, or the D & D…..no matter what you call it, surely one of the most influential streamers EVER!

Few flies have accounted for as many 24in+ browns as this pattern, and this pattern has only been out a few years. In this “Shad Rap” variation here, we also fish this extensively as a bass fly for both smallmouth and largemouth. Consider it a crank bait on a sink tip line.

With a large deer hair head and articulated body this fly dances, weeves, zags, zigs and dives and drives big fish crazy. Fish this fly with a sinking line and heavy tippet, you don’t want to lose the fish of a lifetime!

We carry Lynch’s Double D tied here with a jig style streamer hook up front and a stout predator style trailer hook behind with two articulation beads on the wire. The color here is Chartreuse/White which he refers to as the Chartreuse/White. This fly measures approximately 5″ long.
