Description
The 4″ Glass Insert Bobbin is a top quality bobbin from the folks at Dr. Slick. This is the standard, 4″ version that allows great control and still fits nicely in the hand. These feature Delrin feet for smooth tension on the thread spool and the glass inserts offer smooth application of thread to the fly. The inserts are shaped to allow for a smoother application of thread or other materials as the bobbin is rotated, and they cause less breakage than traditional pipe or straight edged inserts.
The glass inserts offer a hyper-smooth small diameter insert designed for extra fine fly tying threads, 8/0 and above as well as synthetic threads. Ultra Slick!
