The Gray Quill Jig fly is a minimalists dream……very traditional look on this one. This is a very popular style fly in the Euro circles. A great one for early season especially when the nymphs are still maturing, but don’t let that stop you from fishing it year-round!
A whispy tail of mottled hackle into a polish quill body with a simple dubbed collar which features just the right amount of uv flash. It features a silver tungsten bead and of course tied on a quality, chemically sharpened Fulling Mill 45 degree jig hook. As with most of the jig flies, the hook is also barbless.
