Description
The Guido Shrimp is one of our favorite saltwater flies of all-time. It might not be the most effective in the lot, but it’s for sure the most fun to fish. This fly can be fished as a “shrimp popper” on a floating line or it can be fished as a “shrimp wiggler” on an intermediate or sink tip. We use it on tarpon, snook, redfish, jacks and more. Pretty much anything that eats shrimp will eat this fly.
A barred craft fur tail, crab/shrimp eyes with a foam topper over a rubber leg/flash body. This is one sexy fly and has an amazing look and action in the water. Truly tons of fun to fish. This has become a top producer on our redfish trips when the fish are keyed in on the upper portion of the water column.
The Guido Shrimp is tied on a 1/0, saltwater capable hook and the fly measures approximately 3 3/4″ long. White is the color here, and our favorite color, but also available in Black with Purple tail. Both colors worth having!
