Description
The Paradrake style dry fly has set the standard for Hex and Drake mayflies since Swisher and Richards introduced them in the early seventies. This Hex Paradrake is a staple fly for these famous night flies.
This is a very well tied fly. (We have seen some shabby Paradrakes over the years). On this one, the body is tight, the post is thick and rigid and the hackle is well done. This thing will float like a cork and will hold up over multiple fish. Three prominent tails as it should be as well.
Please note that the flies we are being shipped don’t quite have the dramatic curvature to the tail as it might indicate in the picture. Just FYI.
