The Hi-Vis Mirco Chubby Beetle is the terrestrial/ant/beetle pattern that is sweeping the globe. We can’t hardly keep these in stock. This thing is a flat out fish catching machine.
A chubby….yes….just a tiny little version. A beetle? well yes. A large ant? well yes. A small hopper? possibly. A cricket? absolutely. Doesn’t really matter what they think it is, they just eat it. a fantastic fly that works just as well on panfish as it does on trout and every respectable fly angler should own a few.
