This Tungsten Jig Bugger has become a top producer for us around here the past few seasons. Really a versatile little fly. We typically believe that it imitates sculpin fry that our browns gorge themselves on but we also use it to imitate drake and other large nymphs in the late Spring. Has also proven itself as a great little bluegill fly as well!
Use this fly alone or in tandem. Dead drift or twitch it along the bottom for some great jigging action. For bluegill we hang it below a bobber and twitch it…..they can’t resist!
The Tungsten Jig Bugger is sold here in a size 8 and is tied on a Fulling Mill, 50 degree barbless jig hook. It features a silver tungsten bead.
