Description
Maddin’s Flash Monkey is a streamer that covers a lot of bases in a box. You can swing this fly or as it was designed you can strip it in for large fish! Originally this fly was designed to be stripped in for King Salmon but we quickly adopted it as a great Smallmouth Bass pattern.
The Maddin’s Flash Monkey is tied on a 25mm shank with bead chain eyes, bucktail, flashabou, peacock and a chromatic brush head.
The fly is featured here in chartreuse/white and tied on an Ahrex X0774 size #4 hook. The fly measures 4″ in length.
