Description
The Montauk Monster is a big fly that does quite a few things for us around here. Musky, Pike, Peacocks and of course saltwater.
It’s a mega pattern with a spun deer hair head to move a lot of water and attract strikes. Tons of ostrich herl behind makes for some wicked movement on this monster fly.
Although originally designed for stripers, we have been using these for muskies and pike around here and for peacock bass in the amazon. It’s just a great big fly…..for great big fish.The Montauk Monster fly comes in size 6/0 and here in the Chartreuse color. This fly is approximately 6 1/2″ long.
