Description
The Murdich Minnow is a brutally effective streamer and is one of our favorite patterns. Here in the chartreuse/white which makes for a great attractor fly that will work almost anywhere….anytime. Although they call it Chartreuse, it’s actually a bit more greenish which makes it a great baby bass pattern. Regardless, it has a cult following among smallmouth anglers throughout the upper Midwest, and is a must have for any smallmouth and largemouth angler.
However this fly also fishes great for trout, white bass, stripers and even peacock bass! This is a top pattern that needs to be in every bass anglers fly box. Also a great choice for the salt and we have heard of folks killing snook, trout and jacks on these things.
For as simple as it is, we honestly can’t figure out why it works so well. That’s ok though, we’ll just keep fishing them and keep selling them.
We carry the Murdich Minnow here in Chartreuse/White on a stainless and stout #1/0 hook. This fly measures right at 5″ long.
