Description
The Pike Snake is a cool “feather” fly designed for pike but of course deadly on a varitey of related species. Folks have been using them around here for Muskies and the red/white and orange yellow are paricularly good flies for peacock bass. Of course, a staple saltwater fly that will catch just about anything out there.
Kind of a combination of Barry’s Pike Fly, a SeaDucer and a Whistler. Pretty easy to throw for as long as they are and they provide great action in the water.
The pike snake is tied on a 3/0 heavy duty hook and is featured here in the classic Red/White color combo. This fly measures approximately 5 1/2″ long.
