Sucker Spawn tied with Micro Glo-Bug yarn…..makes it a Scrambled Egg. Quite possibly our top pick in the “egg” category for Trout and Steelhead. This fly just flat out catches fish. Also a favorite at trout clubs!
The Light Blue Scrambled Egg fly works great in very cold water conditions…or when nothing else is working! We first learned of fishing this color from our old friend Kelly Galloup. Kelly swore by this fly in cold water on steelhead up in Michigan. On days when nobody else was hooking fish, he was, and it was on the blue.
These Scrambled Egg Flies are tied on the Daiichi 1530 hook that is by far our favorite hook for Sucker Spawn and Scrambled Egss. Blue color here comes in size 12-14
