TK’s El Dorado Deceiver is a great choice for a “jungle fly” that is tied on a Tiemco 600SP 3/0 hook and is right at about 6 1/2″ long.
Tom Kersbergen, originally from Alaska, has fished extensively in Boivia, Peru and Columbia and is passionate about the fishing opportunities that these remote locations offer. He is particularly fond of the Golden Dorado and that is what this fly was originally designed for. It is our top selling Dorado fly along with his Doctor Davis Deceiver.
We also sell this as a Peacock Bass fly and a pike fly as well around here. Some folks using this in the salt as well for larger species and offshore.
