Dave showed us this variation on this fly many years ago and we started using it for a variety of species. Great late season and winter trout fly. Excellent on smallmouth and believe it or not, Dave showed us that it is actually an excellent choice for largemouth when they don’t want the big stuff. Of course, also, it’s a great carp fly!
