The Bloody Mary is a popular and productive attractor style nymph that we have been selling for years. When we first saw this fly many years ago, we looked at it and screamed…..Steelhead! It’s turned out to be one of our top producing, and selling steelhead flies but of course it catches trout as well. That and we just love bloody marys too!
This is a really great nymph for trout anywhere they are found but we have especially found the steelhead in the Lake Erie tribs to be crazy for them! Not a bad bluegill nymph either. They really go for the red.
