The Charlie Boy Hopper was of course created by Charlie Craven during his days of guiding. He needed and wanted a fly that produced better, was more durable, and didn’t take forever to tie. Thus this fly was born and it has become a staple in fly shops and guide services around the world.
A blend of thick foam, rubber legs and deer hair create a realistic fly that lands just right, floats high and looks great. One of our top selling and top producing grasshopper patterns.
