Description
The Coq de Leon Rooster Capes are much sought after and fairly hard to come by. There is nothing like the buggy, speckled, badgery goodness that these feathers bring to a fly. We use these around here for a variety of uses.
Most often sought as a tailing material on dry flies but also make for some great looking larger dries. You’ll find alot of feathers in the 8-14 range and a good number much smaller. Not quite the quality of a #1 or Gold neck but still a ton of dry fly feathers. Most excellent on March Brown and Drake style flies!
The Coq de Leon Rooster Capes from Whiting Farms come in three colors- Cream Badger, Light Pardo and Dark Pardo. Lightest to darkest in that order.
