The Criss Cross Cicada has been a great selling fly for us over the years. A go-to during the Summer months, even when the bugs aren’t present. A great combination of deer hair, foam and rubber legs.
Great pattern to imitate the cicadas when they are around. Also works as a general terrestrial pattern when they aren’t. Last time around, fish were going nuts for these….carp were even gobbling them up. A useful fly for a variety of species.
