Premium quality hooks for tubes- short shank and straight eye for most tube patterns but also listed as a dry fly and egg hook. The Daiichi 1640 is a great tube fly hook featuring the same profile as the 1650 but a lighter wire hook. It is also a great dry fly and small egg hook.
This hook features a round bend, straight eye, 2X short, reversed, forged, bronze. Uses include caddisflies, spiders, eggs, extended body dry flies and tube flies. This is suitable for smaller patterns and smaller sizes.
