The basic Fur Ant has always been a top selling pattern for us. Simple, but it goes back a long ways and is featured in most any book on terrestrial fishing. Any good terrestrial box will have these lined up in black and cinnamon as well.
A classic trout pattern the Fur Ant is a favorite low water terrestrial. East or west ants are a common terrestrial in streams and lakes and trout love to eat them. This pattern is especially good in high mountain lakes and spring creeks but can be used of course on any type of water.
