Rolled for pumped performance in salty environments, IMX-PRO V2S actions are tuned for untilty in three specific areas: improved tracking in the wind, lifting generous lengths of line before a re-cast, and fish fighting control. G. Loomis engineers designed these versatile actions with gobs of power through the bottom half of the rod but, most uniquely, developed a slightly tighter tip to minimize tailing loops and imrprove tracking and line pick-up.
Conduit Core Technology and GL7 Resin System
IMX-PRO V2 is light in the right spots. Traditionally, as the blank diameter increased, so did the total amount of material. This was the only way to ensure strength and durability in the bottom half of the rod. Conduit Core Technology, combined with the GL7 Resin System, replaces excess wraps of graphite with a proprietary material of similar strength that is lighter in weight, balances better, and boosts energy transfer through the blank. This provides surplus strenth and impact resistance without the extra weight, creating a blank that allows anglers to stay frosty when a “send” becomes a “bend”.
