Andrew Grillos the inventor of this loves to fish this fly because It’s slender and drops in the water column quickly and has a lot of enticing movement. The jig hook hooks fish really solidly and doesn’t snag the bottom. You can even fish this as a crawfish imitation for bass! Simply put, it gets the job done!
The Great Carpholio is sold here in the color brown and tied on a #4 hook. Approximately 2″ in length.
