Keller’s Montana Humdinger is a new favorite at the shop for chasing those large trout and bass that need to be enticed a bit more. This fly is built to get down quick and be fished over structure which makes it being tied on a 26 degree jig hook the perfect choice! The fly being articulated just adds to the action! The Montana Humdinger is tied with rubber legs, rooster saddles, dumbell eyes, marabou.
The Keller’s Montana Humdinger is pictured here in the gold/cream color and is tied on an Ahrex TP650 26 degree size #1 front hook and a Ahrex TP610 size 2 as the rear hook. The fly is pictured here in the color olive/white and measures just under 4″ in length.
