Neally’s Compara-hex pattern here is a favorite of many for this important hatch. We would have to say that it is probably one of our favorite hex patterns as it has a great profile and is very easy to see in lower light. This fly has been in the line-up here for so long that we can’t remember who Neally is! If you are out there, congrats on coming up with a killer fly.
Great high floating, gaudy emerger/adult pattern. One of the best flies we have ever used during the hex hatch.
This fly works great as a Dun or spinner but also fishes year-round as an attractor fly. Also a great smallmouth fly as we do get good Hex hatches on many of our warm water streams as well. Sold here in a size 6.
