Description
This is one of the top flies for saltwater flats, Sanibel Island and surrounding waters. Known as Norm’s Crystal Schminnow, it’s also known as Norm’s Sanibel Schminnow.
The Schminnow was conceived as a pattern for sight fishing for snook but it has also proved to be highly effective at catching all of the area’s game fish — including juvenile tarpon — under a wide variety of conditions. It has caught 68 species in fresh and salt water.
