These Ostrich Mini Intruders come from the mind of Stewart Foxall. They are a Great choice for smaller streams like those found here in the Erie region. Also a great choice for low and clear water.
Really everything you want in an Intruder, just a little less. Translucent dubbed bodies over which you have mini-ostrich herl, a bit of Lady Amherst and a bit of flash with a short webby collar behind micro brass dumbell eyes. These are tied on a short Aqua Flies shank and feature a #4 Gamakatsu Octopus hook. They measure 2 1/2- 2 3/4″ in length and the hook extends almost even with the wing.
