One of our favorite, and truly most versatile of Kelly’s new generation of flies. This is the “Improved” version of the Pearl Necklace that has saddle hackles in the tail. Wicked good fly!!!
This fly works especially well on bright days but don’t be afraid to use it either on overcast. It is one of our “go to” flies these days…..period. It is one of Kelly’s “reactionary” flies and it just flat works.
Not only do we use this fly for trout, but also around here for Largemouth, Stripers, Smallmouth and more. It is just simply a great baitfish fly with alot of action.
Kelly Galloup’s “Improved” Pearl Necklace in size 4 and color here is the Yellow. This fly is just shy of 5″ in length.
