Description
Steeve’s Firefly has been in the line-up here at the shop for as long as we have been around. A long time. This fly comes to us from the genius mind of Harrison Steeves and it is one of the best terrestrial flies you could possibly fish.
Of course, and excellent firefly or lightning bug imitation but also works great as a beetle. It’s a beetle with a chartreuse butt and we all know, chartreuse anything catches fish. Our own Brian Flechsig swears by this fly and claims some of the largest trout of his career have fallen for this fly. A foam backed fly with some black Kreinik Braid over the back and then splayed out as wings/legs. This is one buggy fly that flat out catches fish.
