Ted’s Brook Trout is a great choice for just about anything out there. We picked up a batch of these a number of years ago…mostly cause they looked so gorgeous. In other words they caught the fishermen pretty well, but how about the fish? It has since become one of our best selling non-articulated streamers.
We’ve caught browns on the Mad, steelhead in Erie, largemouth bass and quite a few local smallmouth. Apparently the fish think it’s pretty sexy too. Really becoming a good one for steelhead as well…swing it or dead-drift it. Really an excellent fly that does well in the shop as well as here in the onlline store.
