Description
The Triple Threat Flats Crab is an excellent, staple crab pattern that catches bonefish, permit, redfish and more. It is especially good for spooky redfish in shallow water like we find these days down in Florida. Also a very popular fly in Belize. It is one of our top choices these days and travels with us to the salt.
The tails is grizzly barred marabou with flash added along with a small tuft of rabbit at the hook bend. The body is a simple EP like material along with some dark lead eyes……not too heavy though and casts very well. The fly does feature a double mono weed guard as well.
Triple Threat Flats Crab sold here in a size 2 and tied on a solid Tiemco saltwater hook. This fly measures approximately 3″ in length.
