The Parachute Yellow Drake pattern here might be one of the most overlooked flies in the bin. Especially for fishing in the evenings in the late Spring and Summer. Nothing special other than that it’s YELLOW. You can see it and the fish can see it.
Good standard Yellow Drake pattern to imitate the mid-Summer Drakes like the Potamanthus and others. Great fly to have in the box as a searching pattern for when all else fails. Actually, forget the all else and tie this on 1st!!!
